<p>so ive heard a lot about the intimidation factor of mcgill... that it's a great school but classes are HUGE even for upper year students. i sat in on a science class when i was there and it had a few hundred people. is this true of the arts faculty as well? are you just a number to the professors or anything more?</p>
<p>Check the class calendar under registraton. You can take a look at the class size for all classes there.</p>
<p>You can consider going into a program that weeds out the not so great students quickly (or taking harder courses with fewer enrolled)...</p>
<p>I had classes with a handful of student in U2, but anything required for a major is bound to be large. All the CS classes I took for my minor always had over 100 students.</p>
