class to take after R1A??

I'm currently a freshman taking college writing R1A. Next semester, can I
take any R1B class (like Asian American Studies R2B) or is it supposed to
be another college writing R#B class?

yes, you can take any r1b class- it doesn't have to correspond with your r1a class.

can anyone suggest any relatively easy, not boring, mainstream(no slavic studies classes and stuff like that) classes for R#B?

None of them will be easy, but choose one in an area which interests you, that will make the work easier. There should be an online search tool which will list all the RB classes available.

somemom: are you telling me that all of them have the same difficulty?

And I will definitely pick something I'm interested in. Thats why I'm not take a Slavic studies class :)

i've heard South Asian R5B is pretty easy.

im taking southasian r5a and its tougher than i thought it would be...so i think it depends on the professor for any english class

Well, it is a writing class with less than 20 people, you will be expected to participate, attend, write, etc. It will be much easier if you have some level of interest in the topic. How "hard" they are depends on the GSI, I suppose. No matter what it will be weekly work and no way to skip class w/o being noticed, so pick something you'd like to know more about!

can the r5b/r1b requirement be fulfilled through a summertime community college class? and does berkeley offer r1b classes over their summer sessions?
