I’ve actually never had to waitlist before and am currently wondering what my chances are/what to do. Classes start Monday and I am #1 on the waitlist. It is for a STA 100 class. Should I show up and talk to my professor after class?

Just saw that this class on the Registrar website has a 0 maximum enrollment (has 0 available seats too). Is this just a big error and if so, should I just find a diff class?

If you’re #1 on the waitlist, you have a high chance of getting off it. You have until the 12th day of instruction to add the class, and trust me, there WILL be, at the very minimum, one or two people who end up dropping the class before the 20 day drop deadline, and if you’re #1 on the waitlist, it means if someone drops, you’re bound to be in. You have a much better chance than someone who’s #20 on the waitlist.

From the website:

However, in my second post I stated that for that class, the maximum enrollment listed on the registrar website is 0 (The available seats is also 0). This I take it, means that there is 0 spots open out of 0 spots available. I’m guessing this is an error and am not sure if I should be trying to waitlist a bugged class? Or try my chances at another legit class with actual spots available in maximum enrollment
