are we going to have advisors to help us select our classes? i know what i want to do in college, but i’m really confused on what to take

same here... i duno what i NEED to take for freshman year as requirements... and wat i can put off.... college here too btw

For the college you will have to talk to your advisor before they will take you off registration hold.

For engineering they give you a "suggested" curriculum and you have the option of contacting an advisor if you want..otherwise you're kind of free to take what you want.

what about advanced registration? i thought we only meet our advisors at NSO, and thats after the registration we're supposed to have done?

nah u meet/contact advisors during summer preregistration period. im doing a walk in appointment sometime in late june

"Location: philly suburbs... "

"Location: L to the A!!!"

Kinda hard to walk in for those on the West Coast... :p

you can give your advisor a call sometime during the summer, and discuss the entire registration process then. That's also when he/she lifts the registration hold. If you're calling long distance, email first to find out a good time to call.

lol, Gold Duck...I'm from the South (the other LA :p)

when do we get the contact info for our advisor?

check penn in touch (www.upenn.edu/pennportal) for advisor information. you should receive a peer advisor as well as a faculty advisor.
