<p>Hi, It is very unclear to me that there are really more than a handful of classes, if that, for new students to sign up for at UCSC this coming Fall. Am I missing someing? Every class is the departments I've checked are full or nearly full. I look forward to your advice!</p>
<p>They will open more seats for freshmen. 
I actually received an email warning me that classes would have a certain number of seats reserved for freshmen.</p>
<p>Yeah i was searching classes on my portal to add classes to my shopping cart (the shopping cart option wasn’t there… .___.) and a lot of the classes I want to take are either low on spots or full o.o and orientation isn’t even till another month. So hopefully there will be more room. We’ll figure it out I guess :P</p>
<p>More seats are opened during the orientations.</p>
