I have a similar concern to another thread on this page. I have been looking at the COD and like every one of my classes is full, not the desired time I"m talking every one of them. This concerns me because I wish to do pre-medicine and I have to take you know intro chem this year, organic next year, so on and so forth and all intro chems are taken. How can I not get a chemistry class. Then what would I fill it with I can't take another science those come later as says the UVA pre professional page. It's just stressful and I"m not even there yet.

August 4th ISIS reopens and they said there a turnover of about 10,000 adds and drops. Plus don't look at the numbers online right now, they really shouldn't mean anything to you. You probably won't get some of the classes you want at orientation; maybe not even all of them but on August 4th and on you will probably get them. I think they only make such a big deal of the scheduling thing because of the time issue. It's really not a big deal, just relax and you will be fine. You have to have like 25 classes on a list but it really doesn't matter so much what they are. Plus you get forever and 10 years to plan classes/ schedules at orientation. Really just go and chill and don't worry about it. Maybe laugh a little at the people freaking out. It seems like a much bigger deal than it actually is.

ozzie928: No worries, courses WILL open up during your orientation session. There is no way all courses are full, it just appears that way.
