If I go to OSU, will I be able to get personal attention from my profs? I want to form a good relationship with them. Do people go during office hours? Can I get time?

Yes and yes. While Ohio State is a big university, and a major research university meaning that professors also have grad student and research considerations, most are very accessible.

Ohio State is not a place where a full, tenured professor is going to go out of his way to hold your hand and tell you how wonderful you are. That being said, the vast majority enjoy working with their undergraduates. Do well in class and meet them halfway, and you'll be very happy with the level of interaction that you'll find. I had great relationships with numerous faculty--including nationally known full professors.

I never go to office hours but my professors make an effort to get to know me. Also I am in the honors programs so classes are smaller and more personal. not taking honors biology and that is hugeeeee....but there are many T.A.s helping during recitation...rarely do they teach a lecture which is great.
