Classes available at CTOPS

The First-Year Guide says that they reserve spaces in "intro-level gen ed classes" for freshmen registering at CTOPS. I'm concerned that my D won't be able to any classes at all first semester that are relevant to her major, since she is getting AP credit for most of the intro-level courses. Can people who have already been to CTOPS tell me whether they've been able to register for Math 233, Econ 101, and/or Comp 116 - especially those of you with lots of AP credits. (Those classes seem pretty basic to me, but maybe the University doesn't see it that way.) Or do students with lots of AP credits just end up registering for a bunch of "fill" classes to try and knock off Approaches and Connections requirements, because they are unable to register for classes that help them advance their majors?

I know people that have been able to register for all three classes you list while at CTOPS.

Thanks. Anyone else have similar or different experiences?

Econ 101 should definitely be open because not many people seem to like that class. Math 233 will be harder though. idk about the other
