Classes for Computer Engineering?

Hi everyone, I'm a junior in high school and I'm planning on majoring in computer engineering. I'm choosing my courses for senior year and I need help picking out courses. I'm definitely taking computer science AP but I'm not sure which science course(s) I should take.

Which science fields does computer engineering explore into? Chemistry and/or physics?

I can double on science if recommended.

Definitely take physics. & (I know it’s a math course ) but I would recommend taking AP Calculus BC.

Sent from my HTC One X using CC

Physics. Physics includes electricity and magnetism, e&m leads to conductors and insulators and semiconductors, which leads to circuits.

comp sci and physics and calc are obvious. Do your school offer digital logic or discrete math? Those can definetly be useful and would be a great opp if you could take them while still in college. My hs i remember used to offer discrete math but I was the only one who signed up in a school of 3000 so they canceled it :(

Physics and calculus are the most essential. If you’re interested in the materials of resistors and semiconductors and stuff, chemistry can be interesting (like why they use silicon in semiconductors or how batteries work). Chemistry is far from a requirement though.

So what you guys say are necessary are
Calculus
Comp Sci
Physics

In our HS they offer a nice course on ‘finite math’ which is linear algebra, graph theory, and the like. Could be useful if you have it.
