<p>If you don’t take AP Chem this year, you should definitely take it next year. Believe it or not, AP Chem is more relevant to most pre-med requirements than AP Bio. But by all means, you should take both.</p>
<p>I’d prefer AP Chem over AP Bio, but it will depend on how the two courses are taught at your school. AP Chem is also viewed as more rigorous than AP Bio in college admissions generally.</p>
