Classes for next yr

i will be a sophmore i have

English Honors II

AP World History
Latin II Honors
Pre Calc Honors

now the final class is a problem i could do
a) colorguard

pros- I ahve been on team for three eyars and on varsity all the time
i love it

b) art history
pros- it couts as my fine art
i love history

cons- not honors or ap

c) physcology
pros- AP or honors so i could boost gpa

so what do you guys think?

please help!

Take Psych...color guard isn't very appealing and neither is art history.

what about the other classes?

i could also take french II honors...

what do u guys think?

should my final class be
colorguard (varsity)
art hisroty (CP)
Psychology (AP or HP or CP)
French II HP

There is an AP Art History too. A lot of students at my D school take it during the Sophomore year to fullfill Art requirement.

They don't offer it AP at my school so I need to choose

The color guard trip sounds fun - my goodness, you are a freshman - plan fun for your sophomore year

so i should take guard?

You should definitely just take AP Psychology in My opinion, easiest class ever and it will greatly boost your GPA with the easy A.

1) do what you love.
2) if you took art history, you could study for the art history ap on your own, that would show iniative even if it isn't calculated into your gpa. if you really love history, taking extra history classes would demonstrate a passion. i think that does more than just taking all the honors and aps available to boost your gpa even if you're not that interested.

okay so, i'm getting lots of advice in different directions... so err... what should i do? i love guard, and history. psychology is AP or HP...

unless you are involved in ECs then you should do Color Guard. All work and no play makes you look really boring. Colleges def. want to see something more than all the ho-hum honors/AP/IB...Color guard would make you stand out.

no, colleges want to see challenging courses. take phyc AP. i was forced to drop art and band for AP classes but im glad i did bc my class rank would have suffered.

take ap psych

If you love history Art History is a very interesting subject at my D's school. She couldn't take it as She wanted to take AP Euro History which is seems to be a requirement for many Ivies.
Otherwise AP Art History is a very interesting subject to take if you love Art and History and seems to have very practical value if you achieve stature in future to be in position to buy art.
