Classes for the Fall

Hey everybody!

Quick question. Next year I am taking 5 or 6 APs. I want to major in physics in college and my parents would like me to test out of as many physics courses as possible. That being said, my school does not offer AP Physics B. Will this class be challenging if I were to take it independently. The physics teacher for AP Physics C: Mechanics said he will help me!

Thanks!

I don’t know much about this, but if you want to major in physics it would probably be best to take an introductory physics class at your college, just so you have a full understanding before you go further.
(By all means, though, study physics! But I don’t think “testing out of a bunch of stuff” should be the goal. If you want to test out of stuff, make it your non-physics general ed requirements.)

I forgot to note I have already taken a basic physics course in my freshman year. @halcyonheather

And thanks for the advice! :)

^
I mean introductory college physics…which for a physics major is probably calculus-based, like AP Physics C.

Oh okay. I was intending to take that senior year! Im really excited :)

Take AP Physics C, that’s more equivalent to Physics I
