I'm taking a three classes, one in summer and two in fall and spring (spring of next '12), at a different cc from my "home" cc. So the one in fall '11 and spring '12 are the calc-based physics courses. But i'm taking the 2nd general chem during the summer.

My concern is, is splitting up the 1st and 2nd gen. chem. at two different places bad in terms of admission? I don't care about the transition of the course in terms of academics and materially, but will it raise a red flag in a way when I submit my application?

No it won’t, you’ll just have to pay more for transcripts when it comes for actually transferring to the UC/if you plan on continuing school! :)

they dont care about where they come from as long as they are done. i had to send in 5 transcripts. aside from costing more and being a pain in the butt, it was not seen as a negative.

should be fine…i went to 5 different colleges. just make sure beforehand that your chem 1 course will be an acceptable prerequisite at your other college for chem 2. some colleges are weird with prereqs coming from different colleges (personal experience: had pre-calc as a prereq from las positas, tried adding calc 1 at de anza…de anza wouldn’t let me because the pre-calc catalogue description from las positas wasn’t close enough to de anza’s precalc catalogue description)
