Classes listed as closed. Will I still be able to get them?

<p>I'm currently having a problem with my schedule. I applied to Pasadena City College late and I got a late registration date. Now, it seems now that the Sociology class that I want and the English class that I want are both full. If I show up the first day, should I be able to get the class? People tell me that students drop from classes in mass numbers so I should not have to worry.</p>

<p>I'm sure you will. From experience, a lot of people do not show up during the first two meetings of the class, and the professor usually allows students to add.</p>

<p>Attend the first day of class. There will be at least 3 people dropping (my calc II class... 10 people dropped out within first week).</p>

<p>RIight, all 4 classes I plan to take this semester are already full. But my counselor told me I should have no problem if I attend the first day of the class. The professor'd love me and add me in.</p>

<p>Well I'm not considering Sociology anymore and I'm going to take History 1A and History 1B instead. :)</p>
