Classes + Marching Band?

Hi, I'm planning on being marching band and I was wondering how many credits I should be taking to balance my schedule. Here's what I have so far:

ENGN 151, Intro to Prog. - 4 units
MATH 450, Advanced Math for Engin. I - 4 units <---potentially could be 425 (Intro to Prob.) because I'm currently wait-listed for 450, but they seem to be pretty similar difficulty wise
PHIL 196, Freshmen Phil. Sem. - 3 units
ANTHROCUL 101, Intro to Anthro.- 4 units

Marching Band - 2 units

total of 17 units

Is this too hard for an engineer's first semester freshman year? I would really like to go in with a great GPA, but I don't want to kill myself doing it.

I'd also like to know if anyone has any recommendations for an easy Humanities credit. Philosophy isn't really my cup of tea, but I needed something mildly interesting and relatively easy, so I'd like to hear if anyone else has any suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

From what I have heard, Anthro 101 is really easy and Phil 196 is not too bad.

But you should look for a first-year humanities seminar if you want an easy humanities credit.

This link should work:

I took an Italian studies one and it was honestly easier than some classes I had in high school.
