<p>Hey guys, I`m looking for classes on IME department and i dont understand one thing.</p>
<p>There are some classes that have 2 Typer: Lecture and Laboratory, and it shows as 2 diferents classes</p>
<p>for example the course IME223
it got Lecture in class 6218 and laboratory in class 6219</p>
<p>If i choose the course IME223 I MUST do both of them or I have to choose one??</p>

<p>The answer is BOTH. Also, if you are an entering freshman you will receive block scheduling and you will not choose your classes the first quarter. Don’t worry, they will make sure that you know what to take. Also, go to SOAR in the summer. That will answer a lot of questions.</p>

<p>and Im not a freshman, im an international student… will stay in CalPoly for 1 year only and I have to choose my classes</p>
