Are freshmen allowed to enroll in classes are above the 100 level without an AP credit? When looking through the course catalog I saw some interesting classes but they were 202,350, etc. (they didn't have any prerequisites.) Can I take classes higher than the 100 level as long as they don't have prerequistes or are all above 100 level classes off limits to freshmen.

If the class has no prerequisites then the answer is yes 99% of the time. You'll find that course numbering actually is not very well correlated to the difficulty of the class. Some of the toughest classes you'll take will be at the 100 level. Higher level classes are more specialized.

If there's no prereqs, then you can sign up and take the course, provided there is room. Obviously you can't like, jump into a 300 level math class or something like that without the other classes you need before it.

If the 202 was psyc as a social science, then you can definitely take that, because there are no 100 level psyc classes. There are multiple 201 and 202 psych classes every semester, and probably 2/3 of the people in there are freshmen.

Don't expect to get an override into a higher level class as a freshmen though if there's not already room for you. As Matthew2005 said, the higher level classes are generally more specialized, more in depth, on more narrow topic.
