Hi guys.

Alright, my problem is about what foreign language I decide to take. A month ago, I signed up for German because I didn't get the opportunity to take it in high school, however, since I did take Spanish, I took that placement test and tested into year two, receiving four credits if I decided to continue it.

For the past month, I thought I was pretty set on what I wanted to do, but now the night before classes start, I've suddenly freaked out. I don't know whether it is worth it to start a new language, as I doubt I'll actually speak it after I get my 12 credits out of the way.

I was only somewhat decent at Spanish, because I never really put the time into it, so how hard would jumping into the second year be? Also, because it is last minute, I would be third on the waiting list to get into a class. Would I actually be able to get in?

I know it all sounds rather stupid, but I just had this thought a few hours ago and I haven't made any progress thinking over it myself, so I figured I would reach out for some answers.
