What classes do you guys recommend for a CHASS student who's undeclared to take?

Even though a lot of CHASS majors don’t have a math requirement, you should take math just in case you decide to switch to a major that does require math.

Take English early on too, just because that’s a university-wide requirement.

Other than that, I say you take introductory classes in different subjects to see what you like. I took ANTH001 fall quarter and ANTH005 winter quarter of freshman year. I liked both classes, and now my second major is Anthropology. Take Sociology, Psychology, Religious Studies, Art History, History, etc. You have until the end of your second year to declare a major, so why not explore?

Thanks a lot.

also your adviser will give you a list of GEs for your major that you must complete. I actually ended up picking completely different classes than originally
