Classes to take to try to internally transfer from UGS to McCombs

So it says I need 26 hours in residence at UT. I need roughly a 3.8 to transfer.

I took Macro as a dual credit class, Calculus as an AP class (pretty sure I got a 3), taking Calc 2 online over the summer. Other than that, I did 2 years of English dual credit, so I should be done with English composition classes. I also should have passed the Govt, Comp Sci Principles, and Stat AP tests this year so those should be taken care of.

So I need to take Micro. Should I take that over the summer as well?

It looks like i’m forced to take one Signature Course, but other than that what should I take?

Honestly, shoot for a 3.9+ because pretty sure the minimum GPA was a 3.85 this year — could be wrong though, but always shoot for a 4.0 for McCombs. UT classes, in general, aren’t easy and require time put into studying for each (even the ones that sound easy), but I took T D 301 (easy/ super hard depending on prof lol, E 316M (American Lit, people say take Lit credit somewhere else, but prepare to put in a lot of time if you take this), GEO 401, GEO 302e, UGS 302 (stuttering stereotype - best class I’ve taken so far at UT and super easy), AST 301 (take it w/ Robinson if you can, an A is an 83+ but you have a test every friday), C C 303 (OMG do. not. take this class lol, it is so much harder and requires SO much time commitment for someone that does not have any interest in greek myth), HIS 317L (African American History - take it w Berry if you can. A lot of work but manageable). The classes I took seemed all over the place, but they all took care of some kind of credit/requirement aka don’t waste your time taking “easy” classes. And honestly, I would take Micro somewhere else since I heard it was super hard at UT, but u do u. Focus on classes, study hard, but don’t forget to have fun as well haha, good luck!

HIS 317L and AST 301 seem like ones i’ll definitely keep an eye on along with UGS 302 but I heard most are blow offs.

That’s funny, theres a guy on reddit that recommended AST 301 Intro as well to someone else with that exact teacher and brought up the 83+. I’ll definitely try to get those.
