Classes

Hey, what's up guys. I was just wondering, if I were wanting to get into an Ivy League school, would insanely advanced classes be a requirement? I'm in IB, and in one level up that normal, but whilst browsing through here, and seeing people at school, I see freshmen coming in taking Pre-Calc. Do I need to catch up, and try to take some extra courses to get myself ahead? I realize classes don't all go into play when looking at colleges, (I.E. EC's, ACT/SAT), but let's say I was on par with the rest, would my classes be extremely influential?

Thanks a ton!

TL;DR Currently in Ap Algebra 2 as a sophomore, do I need to catch up for a chance at Ivy league?

No. Colleges will view your schedule in the context of what is offered at your school, not what college confidential users are taking. There are some people that are accepted to top schools without having taken calculus.
