I want to set a general idea for the classes I plan on taking in the future. I’m the first person in my entire family to go to high school in America, so I don’t know which classes go together and which ones are unnecessary.
I am currently a freshman. I already have my fine arts credit because I was forced by my school to take a gaming design class in 8th grade (it was a high school level course).
I know this is a lot of AP classes, and people are probably going to say I don’t need to put this must stress… but if you think so, please give suggestions. I am not planning on doing Dual Enrollment because I do not want to stay in-state.

Do AP sciences not have prerequisites at your school? Usually, a honors or regular science is required first.
Why do you switch from Spanish 3 to Japanese? Take Spanish 4. If you natively speak Japanese its not going to be that impressive to colleges, although it might help you with reading and writing which you’re probably weaker at, going to school in America.
For your two blanks, you should probably go with Euro and Art History or CompSci A (they are the only two left I can think of).
Does your school not have any more PreReqs? I had to do PE, Health, Communications, and all that crap.
What’d you get on the AP Chemistry exam?
Are you leaning toward biomedical engineering as a major? Unless you are planning to retake Calculus in college (which isn’t a bad choice if you feel you need it, but not necessary), I would not recommend taking a break from Calculus level math senior year. I’m not sure how it is everywhere, but I believe a lot of schools require math up through Calc III/Diff Eq for biomedical engineering. Therefore, it may be helpful to build to Calc BC senior year instead of junior year.
You shouldn’t double up on math only to not take math the next year.
Have you taken Algebra, Algebra 2 and Geometry?
Also will your HS let you start iwth AP Bio? Usually you would take Honors Bio freshman year, Honors Chem sophomore year andthen Physics and senior year you would have one or more AP sciences. You don’t want to take difficult AP courses (e.g., AP Bio, AP US History) as a freshman if you are new to the school system.
Senior year you don’t have to take a language if you don’t want to…colleges just want you to get to Level 4 of a language.

I really appreciate your guys’ opinions, but I’ve taken Algebra 1 (6th grade), Geometry (7th grade), Algebra 2 (8th grade), and Biology (8th grade). So all of those classes are done. My school also told me to take HOPE online during the summer, so I did that as well.
Regarding languages, I have not had a good experience with teachers in this department. I don’t really like learning Spanish due to this reason (not saying it’s not a language worth while, just a personal thing- my teacher just sucked).
I already took my Art credit with this Gaming Design class (which I didn’t even know I took) in 8th grade. My school treated my class as a guinea pig group and gave us a whole bunch of high school classes early.
In some subjects, AP indicates increased rigor (ie., AP US History vs. Honors US History). In other subjects, it indicates the end of a sequence (AP Foreign language), or a levelled sequence (AP physics 1, 2, C).
Are you a Japanese Heritage speaker?
