We love “A Christmas Story”. We have to watch it every Christmas Day. We will be watching “Elf” later tonight and some Bob’s Burgers Christmas episodes.

I haven’t seen “It’s a Wonderful Life” in 30 years, but I don’t remember it being depressing. Just not my fam’s jam.

Can’t do the Hallmark stuff.

I’m so-so on A Christmas Story. Definite no on Die Hard.

Christmas with the Kranks is a fave, as well as Elf, Love Actually, The Santa Clause and I also like the Snowman…especially the music.

The little girl from It’s a Wonderful Life turned 81!

Somehow I missed seeing “Home Alone” the first 30 years after its release in 1990. Saw it for the first time last year and really liked it. H, S and I watched it again last night and I liked it even more. Putting it on the “watch every year” list.

Our family finds Home Alone 2 almost as good as the first. I think it’s the Christmas in NYC that makes it fun. The cameo of our 45th president in HA 2 we skip over, but do as you feel.

Subsequent sequels, NO!

@MADad

I love NYC and enjoy HA2 (except for that scene :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: )

I do like the first one better though.

Ditto here. The first one is a real classic. :+1::+1:

Let’s get back on topic…which is classic holiday movies you Don’t like.

I didn’t like the two newer remakes of Little Women. In my opinion, the Winona Ryder-Susan Sarandon version is the best and is a wonderful Christmas movie.
