Classic "should I retake"?

March SAT:
CR: 640
Math: 760
Writing: 710 (8 essay)

Oct. SAT
CR: 680
Math: 800
Writing: 710 (9 essay)

Subject tests:
Math 2: 780
US History: 710

My top schools are USC, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and UNC.
My school doesn't use GPA but my average is a 91.8 on a one hundred point scale.
I took APUSH (4 on AP) and APBC calc (5 on AP) last year and am taking AP comp sci, AP physics, AP stat, AP psych this year.
I've always been a beast at math without any effort and will likely want to pursue an economics, finance, engineering, or math degree.

My question is should I take the ACT this weekend for the first time to see if I can pull off a 34+, should I retake the SAT, or should I simply be satisfied with my scores???

Also, should I apply to more difficult schools? Or do I not have a chance of getting in?

Thanks,
Kevin

bumpbumpbump

It really depends. Are you a junior or a senior? If you’re a junior right now, by all means take it again. You really need to improve that CR score, try to get it above 700 at least.

Also, writing is a VERY easy section to improve on. In only about ONE month of dedicated studying I went from a 620 to an 800.

Congratulations on that great math score by the way.
