<p>Does anyone know the most recent classical monologue? I need a classical one, but i don't want to do the whole Juliet thing.</p>
<p>Shakespeare is great!!! and keep in mind that he has written around 40 plays with many suitable female monologues in each of them. try looking at an alternative shakespeare monologue book which excludes very popular plays like Hamlet, Midsummer, R&J, and Macbeth. another option is to try one of the greek playwrights like sophocles or euripides.</p>
