Classical Music While Studying

I'm going to try studying for mid-terms while listening to classical music (haven't done it before!!), any song suggestions?

Currently listening to a random Mozart song I found on Youtube :D

I find that modern minimalist pieces are those that allow me to focus best.

That works great for me along with most of the suggested music for that video or other John Adams pieces.

Bolero by Maurice Ravel is a piece that I adore.

Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin

Pictures at an Exhibition by Ravel

I agree. Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition is excellent.

The Pride and Prejudice soundtrack (2005) is amazing. It mainly consists of piano.

Frederic Chopin - Nocturne In E Flat Major

I listen to the Harry Potter and the DH (part 1 and 2) soundtrack while studying… haha

Does that really help you study. I listen to K-pop lol. But I’ll definitely try it.

By ‘classical music’ do you mean music from the Classical Era (1750–1830)

or music that we just consider ‘Classical’ [most traditional instrumental/voice pieces made roughly before 1900s]

Or just any instrumental music that sounds mildly like what most non-music theory people would call “classical sounding”

o_o

I’m guessing the third category…

When it comes to studying, listening to Classical era composers is probably the best background music. Try Mozart, Mendelssohn, even Beethoven, Haydn, etc. If you want something even more pure, try Bach. I’m not a fan of any of that stuff really, I love romantic lol, but I don’t think that’s the best ‘study’ music cause it’s too good. You can’t concentrate on hw :D

This is the best.
