Classicists vs. Assyriologists

I am very interested in studying the ancient and classical world particularly philosophy and religion. However I am trying to decide if I should declare a classics major or near eastern studies major. I am extremely interested in both fields and have taken a semester of Latin and Akkadian to try to test the waters but still cannot decide between the two. I was wondering which field of study would make me more marketable in the workforce? I plan to continue to PhD level eventually but want to have a firm direction before I finish my Bachelor's. Thanks for the help!
