<p>Did someone applied for classics successfully? What your extracurriculars were? Which languages did you take at school (Latin, Greek)? What were your credentials and grades?I just need some real example to weighted the chances of my younger brother.</p>

<p>“Did someone applied for classics successfully?” No. No one applies for Classics. All undergraduates apply uniformly to Yale College – not a degree program. </p>

<p>BTW: you asked the same question across the range of Ivies. None of them admit students into a Classics major.</p>

<p>I had Ecology & Evolutionary Biology on my app; however, I am also considering a Classics major, and I told my adcom that in person. I got in and you can see my stats by looking at this year’s scea results or just going through my posts.</p>
