Clearing Foreign Language Requirement on IGETC with High School Transcript

For my freshman year of high school, I received a C for the first semester and a D for the second semester of first year Spanish. For my junior year of high school, I received a C for the first semester and a D for the second semester of second year Spanish. Is this enough to clear the foreign language requirement on the IGETC? Or should I just retake my foreign languages here at my CC?

D grades generally mean that the course is disqualified from counting toward subject requirements. The D grade in second semester of second year means that it is unlikely that your CC will count it for IGETC purposes. Your CC probably has a document on its web site detailing what you need to show to fulfill that part of IGETC, or you can ask the IGETC certification person directly.
