My D received her acceptance letter today for Architecture. We live in VA any other architecture majors?

Still getting the “Unable to determine application status” message…not holding out much hope at this point. In MA and nothing in the mail today.
Waitlisted in NC with a 1350 and 4.4 w, 3.4 uw GPA. Shocked is an understatement. Our Naviance had him very solidly in the green. Kids with 1360s are getting $7500 merit and just 10 points lower is waitlisted?!
Also strange seeing 29’s on ACT getting $7,500 while other 29’s getting waitlisted or rejected…
I got in! 28 ACT 4.35 Weighted gpa…in state for general engineering… 115 out of 500 something
Accepted today and totally shocked!! ACT 25 gpa 4.7 tops 10%of class out of state
Small envelope received here in NY today, but we were expecting that. Son still at school so don’t know if waitlisted, but doesn’t matter. Clemson just does not seem to accept from our public high school. Glad it arrived early this week so we can move on now. That means son choosing between Ohio State and University of Florida. 
Thoughts on choosing between those two schools. I would love some feedback. Major is Construction Science.

@nervousmama22 gosh I’m not sure. Let me dig it out of the trash! Kid was accepted EA to NC State so he’s probably going there. No way would he sit on a waitlist for Clemson.
Did they admit you to Clemson, and just not to nursing?

@nervousmama22 @imstacey unfortunately at Clemson the wait list is bad news.
Last year there were 1794 students offered a spot on the wait list. 659 students accepted a place on the wait list. Of those, only 3 were admitted.
Also, wait list students aren’t informed until June 1st. So you still need a backup plan.
D got in out of state… 1340 sat, 95 gpa unweighted, taking all honors course while playing 3 varsity sports& a lax captain
No mail here in Texas…but if y’all are any indication. It is definitely going to be a denial. We will live in happy oblivion
for another day. It’s gonna sting Clemson was in the top 3 for DD.
