Clemson chance me!

Hey! I’m a junior at a high ranked public school in NC. My top choice is Clemson, but I’m also looking into NCSU, UNCC, and UNCW.
Here are stats after this year:
GPA- 3.44UW/ 4.06W
ACT- 27
SAT- have not taken, but signed up for the next one!
My dad, uncle, aunt, and grandma all went to Clemson.
I do competitive dance and work as an assistant at my dance studio 27hrs/week(I know Clemson doesn’t look much into EC’s though)
I’m a member of German club and FFA at my school and will be in NHS once applications come out.

What do you think my chances are of getting in/ if there is anything I should do before applying? Thanks

You probably should be okay; but don’t slack off on your course work. Also, depending on how you do on the SAT, you might want to consider taking either the SAT or ACT again in the Fall (most students do better on one or the other); perhaps a test preparation course this summer might help in that regard.

I suggest looking at the Common Data Set to see how your stats compare to students that were admitted last year. Clemson is becoming more competitive for admission . I also suggest retaking your ACT or SAT to improve your score to make you more competitive for admission and to increase your potential for scholarships. I agree with @gandalf78 to not let up on your coursework. Your current stats place you right on the bubble for admission . We live in SC and quite a few students at my son’s high school with stats similar to yours or even slightly higher were waitlisted or offered the Bridge to Clemson program. Good luck to you.
