Nxtchaptr83, he was accepted into Arts and Sciences as a Psychology major. He also submitted his ACT score, which was a 29, as well as his 1360/1950 SAT score. I prefer to keep his state private, but we live in the Southeast in a metropolitan area. Good luck!

from nj, got accepted in pre-business
4.27 gpa weighted
27 act

Accepted!
Major: Political Science
ACT: 30
GPA: 3.78 UW
Go to a rigorous math and science magnet school
Lots of EC’s/leadership positions

I submitted my FAFSA after my acceptance letter was received and I’m hoping for the OOS waiver. If I don’t get it, my chances of going are slim to none. Do my chances look good for it?

it’s very unlikely that you will get the OOS waiver (especially this late and with your ACT score below what they are looking for)

What are my chances with a 32 ACT and 3.75 UW?

not sure how good of a GPA you will need to have, your ACT score is good enough but it says you should be in the top 10% of your class to get a OOS waiver

Does anyone know chances of getting in when you are waitlisted? Anything you can do to improve chances? Should student send a letter or call? Thanks.

this is what Clemson says to do to appeal if you’ve been rejected but some of these recommendations can probably help you out if you are on the waitlist:

“Updated transcripts, grade reports, or standardized test scores are encouraged. Letters of recommendation are considered, but applicants should show restraint in the number of letters submitted.”

Not sure what your chances are of getting in off the waitlist but good luck!

4.04 gpa weighted, 3.88 unweighted, act - 31
Lot of extracurriculars
