My son’s is still there, so maybe good news for yours! Clemson’s weekly trickle of acceptances is torturous.
Seems like a good sign for you; my D’s portal still shows those sections. The Clemson trickle of acceptances feels like death by a thousand cuts.
This is so very true. The trickle of acceptances makes the waiting game so much more difficult. I wish Clemson had an EA application. I liked the way UGA did their EA applications- they were so transparent.
Having had it both ways (all at once admissions decisions and trickle) I vastly prefer the all at once. The reading between the lines and worrying is massively increased with the trickle.
does anyone know around what time decisions would come out if they are released today? I am an instate student who applied in November and I haven’t heard yet.
I think usually around 3pm-4pm est… but a change to the portal will happen in early afternoon usually… It changes from Awaiting Decision to Decided I believe
When it changes to “decided” is that generally thought to be an acceptance? Does Clemson do rejections now or save them up for the very end like a few other schools my daughter has applied to?
It may just disappear. My daughter’s changed after lunch and just dissapeared. Never said ‘decided’ so if there is a change then it sounds like it could be a signal you will get something this afternoon.
so peoples “awaiting decisions” have already changed/disappeared?
mine has not
My sons hasn’t either. But the disappearance seems to happen right before na acceptance. Congrats to those lucky folks!
So the missing portions of the portal did mean a decision was coming - my daughter was accepted today for Biological Sciences (merit award to be determined in Feb)
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Yay!
have any people who applied test optional heard?
Congratulations!
Test optional here…haven’t heard yet
Test optional with high stats and still have not heard.
My DD test-optional. Admitted 12/16 to nursing program.
I got in test optional with high stats. I’m in-state, which might have played a role.
I am in state as well. Hoping to hear back soon!!! congrats on getting in
