Clemson Class of 2025 Admissions

I submitted a 1470 on 10/15 and didn’t get a decision.

@2025gn That’s a really strong score. I’m sure you’re getting in February then. Good luck!

My daughter was admitted via 11/5 letter that was received via mail in Charlotte suburb last week.

Anyone know when honors decisions are communicated?
Do they deviate from the application timeline detail on the website?

Thank you!

@2NCKids last year they heard on Friday 2/14 after 5pm via email.

@2025gn @UTSquared Normally there is a second round of early admits in early December as well.

My D21 submitted a 35ACT and 4.0UW and didn’t get in with this first batch. I am hopeful she will get in the second batch in early December like her D18 sister did with the same stats.

@burghdad you know she’ll get in with merit, lol. Is she doing nursing? How’s D18 faring?

@Tigerwife92 Yes she applied for nursing. D18 is doing great under the circumstances. She is going to graduate in 3 years with a degree in BS Economics and minor in public policy. She will also graduate with honors. She is starting the law school application process.

On the down side she and her three best friends all contracted covid but about a month ago. She has recovered but still has loss of taste and smell. She missed the ring ceremony because of covid. So there was some tears over that. Thanks for asking

Son’s portal status just changed to “Decided” today. No attached letter yet though. Hopefully good news? In state.

Same here for in state daughter! Hoping the email/link populate soon.

I’ve noticed that the last two rounds of early notifications have also been on Thursdays.

@upstatesc3 I thought there was only one round sent out so far … the first week of November. Did I miss a second round?

@proudmom2g1b one group posted about notifications on 11/5. A separate group (2-3) posted being notified on 11/12.

@UpstateSC3 I could be wrong, but I think the ones that posted on 11/12 about their acceptance packages arriving were just letting us know that their packages had arrived in the mail (after seeing the portals change on 11/5). I don’t think there was another wave that close together, but congratulations to your daughter! A great Thanksgiving for your family for sure!

I think most of the acceptances so far are OOS. We live in the upstate where lots of kids applied and had not heard of any acceptances yet (I know early rounds are high stats kids).

@SCdadof3 I know of a small handful of in-state students that were accepted in the first wave, one of which attends my daughter’s school. From the one’s I’ve seen so far, Engineering majors have been some of the ones notified already. My daughter has really high stats and applied for Engineering, but so far hasn’t heard anything. This is definitely a nail biter!

Do you mind sharing his stats? We are OOS, but just waiting!

Son’s status just updated again. He is accepted into engineering. In state. He is so excited!

Congrats @SCdadof3! I see the update notice in my daughter’s portal. But I’m waiting for her to open it!

Congrats to your daughter too! Looks like this year they have switched to notifying electronically first and then the Tigertown Bound packet a couple days later in the mail.

Admissions told me that my SAT was in the middle 50% of accepted students. I still have an opportunity to go test optional. Anyone have any thoughts or advice? I am really struggling with what to do. I applied on the first day, but haven’t heard anything yet :frowning:
