Not a bad option. The main downside is if you wanted to rush as a freshman.

My D accepted to Clemson but not her 1st choice Nursing or her second choice Health Science. Asked to select a different major…???
D admitted to 2nd choice major. 1st choice was Nursing. Test Optional, OOS, 4.1 weighted, 3.8UW. LNA. Over 2600 documented volunteer hours. Tons of state and national level honors and ECs. A bit surprised at the no on nursing but overall she is pleased to be fortunate enough to be admitted. Looks like a lot of quality kids on this board didn’t get in. This was clearly a very weird admission cycle…

D21 accepted OOS with unspecified merit scholarship to Agribusiness. 4.0 UWGPA, 4.7 WGPA, test optional, 8 AP classes, decent EC’s with an emphasis on mock trial, good essay and I would expect strong recommendations.
Congratulations to all that got in, and good luck to everyone. The TTSB program doesn’t sound like a bad option if you really want to be at Clemson. I didn’t go there and I’ve got other preferences for my shades of orange, but it really is a beautiful campus and setting.
