Clemson Class of 2025 Admissions

Business has become highly competitive recently so don’t get too frustrated. It is possible to get off the waitlist especially this year.

If we can assume similar numbers of kids accepted this year than last, and the 43,000 applications, the number would be below 40%. Last year was 51%.

Accepted OOS Engineering
1480 SAT
3.9 GPA

Hello! A friend’s son has yet to hear also. 1450 SAT and 4.78 GPA, applied to Engineering. In state. No email or letter yet.

Did he check his portal? We didn’t get the email until today but the decision was in the portal last night.

Yes - still says “Awaiting decision”

My guess if they took same number as last year 30-35% at best. Could be even lower. This honestly was completely unexpected from me being this competitive but I got into business and it’s promising since this is the first college I’ve heard back from. I honestly had this listed as a safety/match but by looks it was definitely not a safety. Still keeping my decision until at least April 1st.

Son accepted to 1st choice major. OOS (we’re in MA)
Construction Management
No test scores
4.3 GPA
Good extracurriculars
He’s very happy - but probably too much $. Will wait for financial aid
info to make decision. Also accepted to UMASS Amherst - his other top choice.
Good luck everyone.

Does anyone know when we will be receiving our Username Activation Codes for onboarding? I was accepted last night and extremely eager to get everything set up lol.

Honestly I think it’s a revenue source for the University. It’s an extra 4-10K in tuition to the school depending on if you’re in or out of state.

D accepted OOS to Eng, #1 of 380 CR, all A’s, 9APs, tons of ECs and sports, 1330 SAT with one week’s notice on taking the test. Sadly no merit offer. Wishing now we wouldn’t have submitted the test score.

Has anyone with less than a 1400 SAT received a merit offer?

I think we were 1 of the lucky 150-250 ppl who were kind of last chance acceptances the more I look into it. Like we were on the brink of being bridged or waitlisted but our application had something that tipped the scales for us somehow.

It seems this means we barely got in by looking around n stuff. Guess I won’t know until stats are posted who knows when.

Actually no! I am instate but I live in the midlands and I am a black female! I have 3.0 UW, lots of EC’s, IB program, Columbia Youth Commission, no scores but sent an optional essay.

Got in. Thank you!

I was wondering the same thing and did some digging around. It appears your username and XID needed for Duo and iROAR will be in your acceptance packet.

EDIT: It appears it will also be in your portal under Next Steps → Start Your Clemson Onboarding Process → Activate Clemson Username

Hello everyone and CONGRATS to everyone on their achievements and acceptances!

My son applied on Oct 27th and heard back on January 14th. His letter said he would be receiving a scholarship award in February.

Has anyone heard anything yet? Generally how “kind” are the scholarships for OOS kids? My son is 6th in his class of 450… with lots of ECs, sports and research. He is in the Full IB program and has a 3.998 UW and a 4.3 W (arguably 4.5 W with a school transfer lowering it).
He also applied to the Honors College and wondered when he would hear about that also…Fingers crossed!!

THANKS ALL!!

GOOD LUCK and Congrats again!

My son also accepted OOS to Eng. 31 ACT which I believe equates to over a 1400 SAT ( took once Fall of Junior year), 4.0 unweighted. All honors, APs, lots of ECs. No merit offer either. I am wondering how they decide merit.
