Hi has anyone been accepted into engineering yet? If so what are your scores??
My son was accepted into engineering for Clas 2022. ACT=35, 4.0 GPA unweighted, 4.6 weighted
@WDWFan Is your son In-State or OOS? I’ve only heard of IS receiving acceptances so far.
Just got mine today. OOS 1550 SAT, 4.0 UW, 8 AP, $15k scholarship
OOS

NJ
Son accepted to Clemson Engineering today EA. Large Merit Scholarship. 1500 SAT, 4.9 weighted GPA, tons of EC and Community service, 4 year athlete 2 sports. North Carolina
@adtuck I spoke with admissions yesterday. Even though my son applied August 1st his application was not even looked at yet. They said they are extremely behind with NJ, VA and MA. Hope that helps.
I haven’t heard anything about acceptances in FL yet either.
My son got the email yesterday-- as a followup to the mail he received (but he hasn’t gotten his acceptance letter yet) instructing him to set up his account to pay deposit, sign up for housing, etc. We are hoping the letter comes today-a nice Christmas gift for sure!!
DS got an email last Friday for login/password setup for accepted students but just got his Tiger Town Bound letter today—stats: OOS (FL); ACT-31; GPA-3.95uw; engineering; $10,000.
My son OOS PA. Applied in August. Accepted A&M in September. No word from Austin. Non ranking high school 33 ACT. 4.4 weighted. 4.0 unweighted. 9 AP. All 5’s test scores. Leadership, extra curriculars. Very frustrated.
@ggbucks I am sure your son is frustrated not having heard with those stats. However as noted on cc forums Clemson not a rolling admissions school. Folks have noted different factors may be involved with why some students with high stats like your son hear earlier. Those may include the major applied to and the volume of apps for particular ACs assigned to your state.
I would expect with those number he will certainly get in and will get the merit money commensurate with his high stats.
Congratulations to your son’s outstanding high school career. I hope he hears good news soon
