Any chance of me receiving an OOS FEE waiver to Clemson with a 26 ACT x 2 times, 3.3 GPA unweighted (10 honors classes), 3 years, 3 sports Varisity letters, worked for 3 summers, lots of EC, Great letter of rec from one of my coaches. Been accepted to PU, IU, BSU, MSU, and SLU ($6,000 schol). Any info, thanks.

They appear to be generous about waiving the OOS fees especially for those they invite to the Honors College. I understand they have an SAT cut off for waiving the OOS FEE but I've not seen that info in writing anywhere. You could search the Clemson archives - I believe it's been discussed on this board before. Good Luck.

How do I look to just get in?

Probably good but you won't know until you apply :-)

Already did, back in late Sept. No rolling admitts, have to wait until 2/15/07. Any thoughts??

My D received an acceptance letter today as well as OOS fee waiver and a small additional scholarship.

Question: how did your D get accepted already if the notification date is 2/15/07?
Congrats, though! :)

Good question?? I thought notification was the 2nd week of Feb?? What state are you from? What was your D Stats? Thanks

My D is from PA. GPA 4.22, SAT 1560/2250.

I believe the cutoff is 1300 for an OOS waiver.

You can call admissions, they will tell you the OOS cutoff. I believe it is up to 1350 SAT, 31 ACT, top 10%.

wow I had never even heard of the OOS waiver! I’m from GA and I’m struggling with covering the costs of Clemson! My family has an EFC of 0 so I really need help but even with a low EFC i know my costs aren’t going to be covered in full… but I have an SAT of 1220 so I guess I’m not eligible for OOS waiver… wow that sucks that would mean I could 100% go to Clemson without coming out of college with a huge debt…
