I live in Cleveland, Ohio and attend a relatively small public high school. I visited Clemson the summer before my junior year and fell in love with the campus. It’s currently my #1 choice and I’ve started the application process. Could someone tell me my chances of getting in and about how much I can expect in scholarships from the school?

*Also, should I apply to the honors college? I’m not sure if it’s really compatible with wanting to major in architecture.
Based on the info given at Discover Clemson Day with your current ACT score of 33, GPA and class rank you are eligible for 15,000 merit . If you applied to Honors ,if you rank in the top 1% of your class , increased your ACT to 34 or SAT of 1500, you’d be competitive for the National Scholars scholarship which covers full tuition. In respect to Honors with architecture major, as it was explained to us ,the Honors College is not necessarily much more work, just differs in the approach to learning . 38% of the Honors College is Science and Engineering Majors, so it is doable with more " intensive " majors. Some of the benefits of the Honors College are priority housing , priority class scheduling ( second in priority with seniors coming first) additional guidance and support, research opportunities and recognition at graduation. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me. We live fairly close to the area and can give more
