I'm looking for some help because I am 50/50 split between Clemson University and Auburn University. I've toured both campuses and got the same feeling of "I could really see myself here." I'm was accepted for the college of Business at both schools (undergraduate), but I can't make a decision. Both schools are very similar, cost the exact same for me, have great greek life, provide the family feel, and have good sports and academics. I believe both schools have the entire package, including fun as well as a strong academic programs. I'm out of state at both schools. A lot of people I know are going to Auburn which could be good or bad--and I have a mountain house and a lot of family in SC and around Clemson, so again pretty split. If anyone has experience in this field, some things to consider, or questions for me I would love to know.

Just speaking for myself - I chose Auburn over Clemson, but that was over 20 years ago I liked the dorms better at Auburn, liked the Auburn Family, Auburn was a bit larger so had more options for me, the town of Auburn is also much larger - so there were more stores, etc. which made it feel less isolated. At the time I made my decision the facilities at Auburn were much better maintained as well. Again, my experience was a long time ago, but I don’t regret my decision at all.

Unfortunately yes MYOS1634, the cost is the same for both exactly which makes the decision much more difficult. I’m also wondering vamominvabeach if being far from big towns is a downside. Clemson is a smaller town, but it seems to have more around it like mountains and beaches so any thoughts on that? And thanks for the help!

If you care about rankings, Clemson is ranked significantly higher overall. I have no experience with Auburn at all but I’m sure it’s a fine school. I have visited Clemson and I really loved it so I don’t think you could go wrong with choosing Clemson. I’ve never met anyone who went there who didn’t love it.

The last thing is the business school at Auburn I’ve head is better than Clemson, I believe Auburn just built a new bschool for $40million, but I’ve heard Clemson is better in general academically so that is another split decision.
