I hope I posted this in the right section if not, I apologize. Basically I have struggled at math most of my college life but, I have been doing the Aleks program for a month and a half and it’s helped a lot. I am wondering which test is a better option, sticking with aleks or using the study guides from aleks and apply it to the clep to test out of college level math(general ed requirment).
I just CLEPped College Algebra and passed with a 59. I used modernstates.org to prepare for the test. They had a free video lecture series and practice problems approved by the College Board. The CLEP was difficult, but not impossible-- the main problem I faced was trying to finish all the questions in time. I haven’t taken an Aleks test, but if I can pass the College Algebra CLEP, you definitely can!
