Cliche - I know. But chance me pleasseee?

I'm out of state, applied for autumn 2014

3.63 GPA, 1850 SAT(560 math, 640 reading, 650 writing), good essays.

Extracurriculars -

Track & Field 10,11,12
Ambassador at my airport (volunteer over 250 hours)
Student Council 9,10,11,12
President of student council this year
Spanish Club 9,10,11,12
Spanish club vp 11th
Spanish club president 12th

I'm really scared. I thought I had a good chance, but now I just don't know what to think. My mind is so busy with worry, and never seems to think optimistically.

Please please help, thank you so so so much.

Also, I’m coming from a small private school. Top 15% of my class. Have taken most rigorous coursework offered.

Your GPA is okay, not exceptional, but you might present your activities in the right light. As always, pay super close extra attention to your essay. If it’s good and reflects your personality well you might get a chance.

Ugh. Thanks for the quick reply haha I just thought I had more than a “maybe” chance.

Well, whatever your chances are, you will never find them out up until you apply and get a response.

you look pretty good. Not great, but still solid. I have a friend who got in with great essays, but 26 and 4.0 (medium class load).

I got in with a 3.79 GPA and about your same SAT (not sure if 1820, or 1870, so lets say in between that), and I am out of state.

I’m not sure if I was a strong or weak candidate however

Your extra curriculars beat mine

I’d say your chances are good to great, hope you applied to backups, but I would expect to get in if I were you.
