So I am a bit concerned because I applied to Boston College assuming it would be a type of safety for me however I did some more research on it and BC isnt a safety for most people. Do you think BC could be my safety? (I really dont want to apply to anymore colleges)

bumpppppp…

I tentatively say yes. You’re above their reported range, and you’re URM. They won’t reject you unless you wrote horrible essays.

okay good i was kinda thinking the same…thanks!

anyone else pleaseeee

You’re most likely in, but like you said, BC isn’t really a safety school for anyone. If I were you I’d apply to whatever your flagship state university is (UM- Amhearst is great if you’re from MA). Often they don’t even have a supplement or if they do, it’s very simple, so you can just send in another copy of the Common App. It’s worth keeping in mind that your essays for your safety school can probably be perfunctory, because your scores will ensure almost automatic admission, so it’s shouldn’t be too much hassle to apply to one of those. That’s just my thoughts. If I were you I’d apply to one school that isn’t a top 30 university, but if you can’t for whatever reason don’t stress too much, because you’re probably fine.
