anyone have any thoughts?

Bbbummmmmmpppppppp

i would love some thoughts

i think yur chances r great

The rank hurts. Chicago and WashU will be tough.

do you think i have a chance at those two schools if i have great recommendations and essays?

or should i just not even apply?

That’s a ton of bumping.
I’d say Redroses, definitely one of the better qualified chancers on CC (and far ahead of me at that), has it pretty much dead on. The GPA/Rank leave something to be desired, and your CR score is rather low. What are your SAT IIs?
But it seems like UChicago and Wash U will be reaches. Your focus should be essays: recommendations matter, but not enough to make such a difference.

Being outside of the top 10% pretty much puts you out of the running at top schools. These schools have >10% who were not, and these are students with true hooks.
