CliffsAP for English Language

It seems obvious that CliffsAP is the way to go, and I've been looking at it on amazon, but according to the reviews (Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: CliffsAP English Language and Composition (Cliffs AP)) not everyone agrees that it is the best choice. One person says that the multiple choice are not very realistic, and that the FRQ essays are much worse. I've been looking at other books (Barrons, PR, 5 steps, etc.) and it seems that everyone says each has its own strong points. But, well, I'm not really made of money, so I don't wish to buy ALL of them so I can benefit for one specific section. So, anyway, do you agree with some reviews? Is Cliffs REALLY the greatest?

Thanks

CliffsAP is the best by far. I can understand some things about the FRQ’s not being realisitc, but it’s AP English - the FRQ’s can be anything. All that really matters is that you know how to write the FRQ because the actual article could be anything. I personally felt the MC was extremely accurate, and the negative reviews exaggerate a lot IMO. Only a few of the explanations are flaky. It really is a great book.
