I am thinking about majoring in this when I go to UCD and can anyone in this major please tell me the work load and what classes I will be taking. Also how hard the classes are and how hard I will be needing to study. My sisters are in the prepharm program and I know I will take all science classes but science is not my strongest subjects and even my sisters who were very good at science in high school are getting C’s and D’s. So I am very scared that I might have a high chance to fail out. Please help!! I need all the help I can get.

Here’s the requirements for the Clinical Nutrition major (it lists the classes you need to take):

While Chem 2A+B is just general chemistry, it’s pretty much a weeder class from what I’ve heard (I took general chemistry at my community college, so I don’t know how tough Chem 2A+B is. I heard it helps to take it with a really good professor, and I’ve heard a lot of good things about Enderle). Chem 8A+B is short O-Chem and the EASIEST in the O-Chem series (the others are the 118 and the 128 series). Depending on how good you are with cell biology and understanding things at the molecular level, Bio 2A can be a hit or miss, and Bio 2B is extremely easy–it’s just ecology and population genetics. NPB 101 is a KILLER (due to it being the only 5 unit course in the entire NPB series and there’s a lot of concepts to understand and memorize) and since you said you aren’t strong in science, I highly recommend that you don’t take more than 15 units if you’re taking NPB 101 (and that was what my NPB 101 professors–there were two teaching my class–said as well) in the future.
