<p>I see that some discussion sections are "cancelled" or "closed." Does this mean that the closed ones are the ones they're saving to reopen later so they don't all fill up at once?</p>
<p>The only example I can think on the top of my head of a discussion being “closed” to “reopen later” is english comp 3 for the fall since so many students need to take it.</p>
<p>For other classes however, a canceled section is just that: canceled. Blame budget cuts : /</p>
