1) how do i know what a closet looks like in my housing layout page? i'm on the first floor in ware (chestnut) if that helps any current penn students..

2) who do i contact to get my bed raised? this is an option correct so that i can store things underneath my bed? i cant really seem to find the info on campus express.

2) I don’t know that Penn will “raise” your bed for you. Some rooms have “bunk” style beds that can be stacked on top of each other (all hill rooms, some in the quad). Some rooms have “cot”-like beds that are metal frames that definitely cannot be stacked (most high rise rooms), but have room underneath. Some rooms have wooden solid beds with drawers underneath (when I lived in the quad I had this). I’ve had the 3 different types at some point.

If indeed you have the type of bed that can be bunked, you can get facilities people to help with that, and that’s available in-person when you move in.

One of my friends lived in a double probably as large as my single freshman year, so when he arrived both beds came lofted with the desks under them. I’m sure if you ask (and have bunkable beds) you can get it lofted.

You can put in a request from housing services when you move in - they have a desk/booth at the check-in area, You could also just do it yourself - the beds my daughter had in the quad could be raised up and down on the bed frame fairly easily. Housing services was very responsive in the quad though - they had a huge team of helpers with same day service on move-in day.
