Her closets had locks? And doors?

my closet doesnt have doors, and thus no locks. also my dorm has really trusting people. i dont even lock my room anymore. i mean, dont leave money out but theres no need to lock the closet. no one is going to steal your clothes, because if they wear them, you'll see. lol.

My closet has doors, but no locks- I can't imagine having to lock it though. As Red06 mentioned- who's going to steal your clothes anyway? I don't even really use my computer lock anymore (because my computer is rarely at my desk). I still lock my room if I'm going to be gone for awhile, but that's just because I'm paranoid- most people don't lock their doors around here.

I can't imagine having to lock your closet. I've got way more valuable stuff out of my closet than in, anyway. But I always lock my door if I'm leaving my floor. I wish I could put up some sort of camera to watch my Halloween decorations in the hall, though, because someone stole one of my bats...

My closet has a door and lock, but you can only lock it from the inside.

^That's funny. Is it a walk-in closet or something?

A girl at my HS stole my jacket. I saw her wearing it in the hall, and I was like, "*****! Give me back my coat!"; all the while she tried to deny that it was mine, until I practically ripped it off her back and dug my liscense out of the pocket. Then she looked really sheepish, said sorry, stood there awkwardly for a moment expecting me to say something friendly or something.

So yes. People steal your clothes and then wear them. Haha.

My closet has a door and a lock that uses a key from the outside. Stuff does get stolen at my school if you aren't careful, so the first few weeks I locked my computer in my closet everytime I wasn't in the room. That got old, and I trust my roomie 100% (not that I ever didn't trust her; we requested to live together), but I was just worried about some other people in my hall that aren't so trustworthy. Anyway, now my laptop is on my desk all the time, but when no one is in the room, the front door is ALWAYS locked. Your stuff will be seen with someone else if you don't even bother to lock the door when you're going to be gone for a long time.

Closets at my school don't even have doors, so there's no way you can lock them. I haven't heard any reports so far of people getting stuff stolen, but I know just because I haven't heard doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I just leave the lock on my laptop, and the door locked, whenever I'm not in the room. There's one girl in my suite who always leaves her room door unlocked, to each his own I suppose.

locking a closet is kind of stupid IMO. I almost always lock the door, but mainly because I'd feel bad if my roommates stuff got taken. I pretty much trust that no one would steal my things.

our closests don't lock... we only rarely lock our room door.

i have two closets right now - the one with my clothes is unlocked, the other one i keep locked because i keep important documents and stuff in it

but that's also because my room is never locked (in fact i had to break the door down so it does not even close) and neither is my house so anyone in town can walk right into my hosue and into my room - thus the locked closet
