I like to wear Nike and Adidas shirts. They're brand names that can be brought at a bargain and doesn't necessarily mark one as being cheap. I always wear Levi's, Wrangler, or U.S. Polo Association Jeans.

I notice that the most popular people are wearing those prep brands such as American Eagle, Aeropostale, Hollister, and Abercrombie. I don't think I want to buy any and I've never considered it.

Of course, I can't go wrong with the Slayer or Florida Gators shirt.

I don't think I'll ever get into gangster clothing like South Pole any time soon.

What are your thoughts of clothing brands and what do you wear?

I wouldn't consider myself to be in the "popular" group or "preppy" - I'm just friends with most of the people at my school. Strangely enough, at my HS the "popular" crowd is only friends with the few other "popular" people lol.
Moving past all that, I do wear quite a bit of American Eagle, just because it always fits me and I like the look - keep in mind though that I don't wear the shirts that are like "AMERICAN EAGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOK AT ME!!!1!!!!!1!11!!!" Just the stuff with no huge logo.
I like nice clothes that are on sale to the point of being really really cheap, regardless of the brand.

I wear a lot of American Eagle and Hollister. Hollister mainly because they fit me, especially their jeans (I am exceptionally tiny.. American Eagle 0's fall off of me, as do most other typical jean brands). American Eagle has really tiny shirts that are cute..
I also wear sports hoodies (Steelers) & school stuff from my HS.
I get a lot of my shirts for back to school shopping at Kohls also...

I am far from Popular by the way. I just sort of where what I like and what fits and leave it at that.

i don't care about the brand, though I do LOVE J.Crew and Anthropologie. I'm more concerned with the style of the clothing. I like to call my style "Federal Chic"

Heh I visited AE for the first time last month and I bought 3 shirts. I always thought they were extremely overprice (30+?) but they were actually fairly cheap. I got 3 shirts for under 30

For me clothing choice is mostly determined by price. Then color, I do not own a single shirt that has graphics or sprites on it, I loath them with a passion.

^^yeah seriously...i think I've been in a discussion involving explaining to people that those stores are not preppy at least 3 times in the past week or something
its getting ridiculous

Old Navy and Eddie Bauer, mostly- their jeans fit great and they make simple, cute clothes that are easy to mix and match, which is all I really care about. L.L. Bean stuff is also awesome during New England winters. :D

J. Crew and Lucky Brand are hella rad. I like Armani Exchange too, and Urban Outfitters and Buckle have some cool tees and stuff. I'm really picky about jeans for some reason...True Religion and Rock & Republic are awesome.

when I buy clothes its not really about the brand. Though there are some ones I might be biased towards.

I admit occasionally I do buy some things from abercrombie, hollister, ruehls, american eagle. But only when the clearance items are worth it. I mostly like stores like h&m.

ppl might say my style is very women in mid 20's at work (like the devil wears prada).
